Motor City Racing League Round 5 at Imola

Round 5 of the Motor City Racing League's Sunday IMSA split 2 was a wild one at Imola. First time race winner Mike Iraci took the overall win in the GTP class. The beloved MCR Traffic Cone had a heck of a race, with multiple commentator curses striking the leading GTP until Mike broke the curse and rode off to victory. The LMP2 class dominance of Trent Blalock was resumed after this two week break in action from MCR. He pulled out a massive lead and kept it relatively early in the race. Kevin Mclaughlin ran a smooth race and took the win in the GTD Pro Class. He was able to hold off a hard charging Daniel Mulroy who found pace late in the race to bring his gap to Kevin down to a half second at the line. The GTD class saw Donovan Edwards ease his way to a win with a 4 second gap back to 2nd place in classe. Check out the 4 podiums below and the broadcast link. Next week is Round 6 at Catalunya!
