KCRL Season 11 LMP3 Challenge R5 Laguna Seca
The new scan for the Weather Tech Laguna Seca Raceway dropped this week, and the Kanas City Racing League jumped right in to try it out for round 5 of the LMP3 Challenge. New run-offs, new sausage curbing and a beautifully rendered circuit awaited the drivers as the 3 classes bombed around the famed corners. Chris Becco led the Pro class from pole and took P1 on the trot. Drake Smith had an uncharacteristic DNF after having contact while going through lapped traffic, sending him down the order and promoting up Max Krause and Jake Vanhees into podium positions. Mike Piecko took the win with ease in the Pro/Am class, with Salvador Castro and Joe Harkness finishing out the Pro/Am podium. Jeremy Stephens won the Am class, with Benjamin Gallant close behind in second, and Jeremiah Sawdon rounding out the Am podium. The verdict was in from the podium finishers about the new scan, and the drivers love it overall. Check out the broadcast link below, the podium finishers, and be sure to tune in for KCRL Round 6 at Road America!
