June Track N Smack Jettas at Tsukuba

Odyssey Motorsport TV and Odyssey Motorsport hosted another Track N Smack. The twice monthly session voted on by the members of the Odyssey Motorsport Discord chose the Jetta TDI Cup car at Tsukuba. Be sure to join the discord to cast your vote for the next Track N Smack!
A standing start for the half hour damage free romp around Tsukuba in the Jetta TDI caught a few drivers out. Turns out the clutch doesn't work as it does on others cars for standing starts, so a few drivers threw it into first gear, put both feet to the floor and the cars jerked forward prior to the start, giving black flag drive through penalties for 4 different drivers. Byron Hayes got an amazing start, as contact behind him gave him a huge gap and allowed him to coast to the win. Lesean Young-Dilworth and Jeffrey Davis battled it out for 2nd and 3rd in the closing laps, with Lesean taking P2 and Jeffrey taking P3. Check out the podium and broadcast links below!
